In this video, I have shared how to make Pongal kulambu/ பலகாய்கறிகுழம்பு, Medu Vada/ Ulundu vadai , Sakkarai pongal/ Sweet Pongal and Sweet potato fry/Sakkaravalli kilangu Poriyal Recipe in Tamil.
Ingredients:
Pongal kulambu/ பலகாய்கறிகுழம்பு:
Oil – 2tsp
Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
Small Onion – 10
Tomato – 1
Curry leaves – few
Vegetables – நாட்டு காய்கறிகள் – மொச்சை, அவரைக்காய், கத்தரிக்காய், சக்கரவல்லி கிழங்கு, பூசணிக்காய், பரங்கிக்காய், முருங்கைக்காய்
Kulambu Milagai powder – 4 tsp
Required Water
Required salt to taste
Toor dal – 1cup
Lemon sized Tamarind
Coriander leaves – few
Sweet potato fry:
Oil – 2tsp
Sweet potato – 1
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Kulambu Milagai powder – 1tsp
Required salt to taste
Required Water
Medu Vada/ Ulundu Vadai:
Urad dal – 1cup
Onion – 1
Ginger – 2 inch
Green Chilly – 2
Curry leaves – few
Coriander leaves – few
Pepper – 1tsp
Required salt to taste
Oil for frying
Sakkarai pongal/ Sweet pongal:
Moong dal – 1/2 cup
Raw rice – 1cup
Water – 4cup
Milk – 1cup
Ghee – 5tbsp
Jaggery – 2cup
Cashewnuts and Raisins
Cardamom – 3
